Simple Practices to Getting Better Sleep at Night

Dear Uncle Dixer: I am getting disturbed sleep in my room and often get up at night with bad dreams and run to my friend’s room to sleep with her. Also, sometimes I am very high on energy and sometimes extremely depressed.

I have started my own business 7 months back and I am operating from home. I have to stay confident, energetic, and focused to run my business. I got to know about you and Feng Shui through internet and how it has helped so many people with gaining peace of mind, positivity, and confidence. I would love to hear your expert advice for me.  

Answer: It seems starting up your business has charged you up to a point where you will need some quiet time before going to sleep. I would suggest that before going to bed, do 10 to 15 minutes of meditation sitting at the end of your bed before you shut down for the day. Failing that or if you don’t like meditation, go for a short walk or whatever that will quiet you down before attempting to sleep.
