The Feng Shui practice originated in China thousands of years ago from the need to select burial sites (also called “Yin” house). The practice then got refined and later branched into residential homes (“Yang” house) and business locations. Again, the goal of all of these are the same – to bring luck and prosperity. A Yin house with good Feng Shui will bring prosperity to the future generations, whereas a Yang house or business location with good Feng Shui will bring prosperity to its occupants.

Feng Shui knowledge is wide and deep. An expert practitioner typically need months of schooling and months of training just to get started. Practitioners typically develop some sort of unique set of knowledge and understanding of the practice based on years of practice and consultation experience.
